Linyi, June 21 -- The much-anticipated national opera Yimeng Mountain was staged at Linyi International Grand Theatre on June 20. The opera, produced over two years by the Publicity Department of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee and the Shandong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, aims to showcase the outstanding contributions and great sacrifices made by the Yimeng Mountain villagers in the Chinese revolution.

备受期待的大型民族歌剧《沂蒙山》6月20日在临沂大剧院精彩上演。歌剧由中共山东省委宣传部、省文化和旅游厅历经两年打磨而成，旨在展现沂蒙山区人民为中国革命战争做出的杰出贡献。

The Yimeng Mountain area boasts a glorious revolutionary history. Local residents offered tireless dedication to millions of Communist-led soldiers during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression (1931-45) and the following War of Liberation (1946-49).

沂蒙山区具有优良的革命传统，在抗日战争和解放战争时期，沂蒙人民在中国共产党的领导下，出生入死、浴血奋战。
