To advance, enrich and develop the Yimeng Spirit, Forum on Yimeng Spirit in New Era was held in Jinan, capital of east China’s Shandong province on November 21.Teachers and students from Shandong Youth University of Political Science and over 80 specialists attended the forum.

Originated in Linyi’s Yimeng Mountains during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Yimeng Spirit refers to the spirit of hard-working, self-improvement and selfless dedication of the Yimeng villagers. (Yimeng is another name of Linyi area.)
During the war, local villagers offered tireless dedication to millions of Communist-led soldiers by making shoes and clothes for them and taking care of their children, in which way they worked together with soldiers to pursue a common destiny.
5th China (Linyi) Stationary Fair opened at Linyi international expo center on November 26 and closed on 28. The fair was expected to be the largest fair on cultural related products in Linyi.
Attracting more than 500 exhibitors from over 30 provinces and over 150 local enterprises, the the three-day fair owned over 1500 exhibition booths occupying area of 30,000 square meters.
A state-level gathering to honor model workers and exemplary individuals was held at The Great Hall of the Peoplein Beijing on November 24. 8 awardees from Linyi was honored as model workers, exemplary individuals.
