Dragon dance, or dragon lantern dance,enjoys great popularityfor festive celebration in China. Diversity of dragon dance varies so much among Chinese folk dance, but it is unique to integrate dragon dance with Kang Ge as Longdeng Kangge in Sanguanmiao, Linyi, east China's Shandong Province.

Káng(扛) refers to carry sth on the shoulder, Gé(阁) refers to an iron frame to hold a child, Kangge(扛阁) refers to carry iron frame on the shoulder to hold a child when people play the dragon dance.

As the 9th inheritor of Longdeng Kangge,Yang Guanqiu has been working with the gorgeous dragon for over 40 years. According to Yang, the dragon dance somehow demonstrates the vigor of our people, so Longdeng Kangge is carried on from genaration to genaration,
