20th Calligrapher Sage Culture Festival of Linyi hailed cultural gala

Thousands of calligraphers, artists, collectors and entrepreneurs of cultural and creative industries witnessed the opening ceremony of the 20th Calligrapher Sage Culture Festival of Linyi at Linyi Calligraphy Square on September 4. The cultural event, a grand gathering of calligraphy which is hailed as cultural gala by the art circles, will last to October 7.

Themed The Origin of Calligraphy Creates New Life and based on principle of simplicity and effectiveness, the cultural festival is consists of four parts: art exhibitions, cultural studies, trade fairs of cultural and creative products and public-interest cultural activities.

A total of twenty-eight activities will be held during the month-long cultural festival. To meet the public needs, Linyi is working to develop the Calligrapher Sage Culture Festival into a grand cultural event of the people, by the people, for the people.
