双语读报告 | 奋力走在前！Go for it，Linyi！（展望篇）

2022年2月24日上午，临沂市第二十届人民代表大会第一次会议开幕，代市长侯晓滨代表市人民政府向大会作政府工作报告。

为向外界全面展示临沂经济社会发展成果、打开世界了解临沂的窗口，临报全媒体与临沂市人民政府外事办公室联合出品，对政府工作报告部分重点内容进行翻译，向世界讲好临沂故事，让临沂故事走向全球，奋力走在前的临沂值得让世界看见。

今后五年，我们将围绕深化临沂“由大到强、由美到富、由新到精”转变，大力实施现代化强市建设“八大战略”，奋力在全国革命老区现代化进程中走在前、综合实力在全国地级市中进位次、人均占有在全省提水平。

We will transform the “big beautiful and new” Linyi into a strong, prosperous and advanced city, and further implement the “eight strategies” to become a strong modern city. We are endeavored to take the lead in modernization among all China’s old revolutionary base areas, increase the ranking of comprehensive strength among all prefecture-level cities of China, and make progress in GDP per capita ranking in Shandong Province.

2022年，是党的二十大召开之年，是新旧动能转换“五年取得突破”的决战之年，也是新一届政府依法履职的起步之年，做好经济社会发展各项工作，意义十分重大。

The year of 2022 will see the convening of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and the fulfilling of the task of “make breakthroughs in five years” in the growth drivers transformation. This year is also a start for the new municipal government to perform its duties in accordance with the law.
